Establishing Rapport
This series of five webinars will take a look at essential coaching skills, starting first of all with rapport. All of these skills are essential to a coaching relationship but, more than that, they are essential for effective communication that ensures learning takes place and value for money is given in each lesson. The webinar looks at the difference between 'instructor-led' rapport and 'client-centred' rapport and argues the case that only an equal, non-judgemental relationship between the instructor and the pupil will result in effective learning, where the pupil understands how the way they think and the way they feel impacts on their behaviour and the choices and decisions they make when driving. |
