The Use of Intuition
This webinar is the final in the series on essential coaching / communication skills. It starts by recapping on the previous essential coaching skills of rapport, listening, questioning and feedback before focusing on intuition. Client-centred intuition only varies from instructor-led intuition in the way any discoveries are transmitted to the customer. Using words like 'I noticed ...' encourages the pupil to make the link for themselves between behaviour and the thoughts and feelings that might have led to that behaviour. Recognising how fear, for example, produces certain behaviours empowers the driver to manage the behaviour and this, in turn helps them reduce the fear. |
