4. The GDE and building responsibility
This webinar looks at the importance of developing self-awareness in young drivers. When 1 in 5 newly qualified drivers is involved in a serious crash within the first 250 miles of driving post-test, improving their understanding of their strengths and weaknesses and how their emotions affect their behaviour, is critical. We know that the ability to identify and then reflect on a 'near-miss' helps build strategies to avoid something similar happening again, and that reduces the risk of being involved in a crash. |

5. The GDE and patience and perseverance
In this webinar I talk about Tess and how important it was to address the higher levels of the GDE in order to develop her control skills and help her manage the panic she so often felt when driving. |

6. The GDE and Crash Risk
This webinar looks at how addressing the higher levels of the GDE in driving lessons can help reduce the risk of a newly qualified driver being involved in a crash. Dan has inexperience, gender and age going against him but when we explore his characteristic strengths he can start to look at coping mechanisms to improve his crash risk. |
